Dean's Awards
Each year, faculty in each of the ten Arts and Sciences departments submit their top recommendations to the Dean for their outstanding undergraduate graduating student(south). From this pool of candidates, the Dean along with a option commission choose an outstanding graduate for the fields of Humanities and Theology, Mathematics and Sciences, and Behavioral and Social Sciences.
Characteristics that the candidates are judged on include scholarly accomplishment, leadership, and service within the Barry community also as outside the university.

Earn a Bachelor's and Juris Md Degree 3+3 Accelerated Program
A partnership between Barry University'due south Higher of Arts and Sciences and Dwayne O. Andreas Schoolhouse of Constabulary, the 3+three Accelerated Program enables qualified students to earn a Bachelor's and Juris Doctor degree in 6 years instead of the typical seven. This means that your senior year of college can double as your first year of law school!
Students who are eligible for this rigorous plan relish full access to Schoolhouse of Law kinesthesia and resources, including our trial and moot court contest teams and our five in-house legal clinics.
The Schoolhouse of Law also offers a variety of externship opportunities that allow you to exercise police under the supervision of accomplished attorneys. The Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law is located in Orlando, Florida. Students who are accepted into the 3+3 Accelerated Program will be expected to attend classes and/or extracurricular events on the Orlando campus.
How Exercise I Qualify for the Program?
The 3+three Accelerated Program enables qualified students to earn a Available's and Juris Dr. degree in six years instead of the typical seven.
